Slaves

Get to the back of the bus!
They would claim
Then call them by the n name.
Get in the hold of the boat!
They would gloat
Then call them by a mac or o name.
Do not stop or drop those bricks!
You have to gather your own straw now!
Pick that cotton,
Tote that bail,
Drive that spike,
Lay that rail,
And your boss owns all that straw now!
And the trains,
And the cattle,
And the land they graze on,
And he is prepared to go to battle
To keep all that you gaze on.
So, my friends,
This is it.
Yes, my friends,
The beginning of the end.
We are deep in
This particular script
And now is no time
To make a slip.
Look how they have treated us!
Look at how we have treated ourselves!
Look at how we treat each other!
And we choose to follow another.
Not You, my Lord.
But we say that we are forced to do
Everything they tell us to
And we walk into gas showers
When they tell us to.
They have the guns, of course,
What are we to do?
We are slaves
We are knaves
We are pawns
We are spawn
Of a system so depraved
We are used by everyone!
We are not
What we think
For we think
We are free!
We can be
If we choose
The One Who hung on the tree
For you and me.
We are free to choose.
What have we got to lose?
The Spirit and the bride say: Come!
And let him who hears say: Come!
Whoever is thirsty, let him come;
And whoever wishes, let him take
The free gift
Of the water of life.

Revelation 22:17

Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death- that is, the devil- and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For surely it is not angels He helps, but Abraham’s descendants. For this reason He had to be like His brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful High Priest of God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because He Himself suffered when He was tested, He is able to help those who are being tested.

Hebrews 2:14-18

Amen

    Hi Ruth,

I know it’s been a while since I’ve commented. I’ve limited my commenting a lot – there is so much arguing here on 444, and everywhere. I’m sure you see it too. Now I feel more called than ever to pray. But, I did feel compelled this evening to say hello, and be a little watchman on the wall. And, I see your hearing is still excellent!

I’m certain that you feel like I do – it could be any day! Be prepared!

If I may, I will give you my own personal understanding, because although I don’t know HOW His manifestation takes place, I KNOW that it DOES! Now, I’d like to use two comparable, but slightly different scriptures. One is “apocryphal”, from the Gospel of Thomas. The second is from Luke 17. Pray about what they mean!!

    Gospel of Thomas, verse 113-
    113) His disciples said to him, “When will the kingdom come?”
“It will not come by waiting for it. It will NOT be a matter of saying ‘here it is’ or ‘there it is.’ Rather, the kingdom of the father is SPREAD OUT upon the earth, and MEN DO NOT SEE IT.”

Now, compare this to Luke 17.
    Luke 17:20-21-
When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will NOT come with OBSERVABLE SIGNS. 21 Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God IS IN YOUR MIDST.’.

Ruth, please keep in mind what He has told you through His poetical words to you. Know that this is a SPECIAL GIFT from Him to you that few receive – Solomon, David, Asaph and a few others received this gift. Think about YOUR name, Ruth, and its significance – God named the forefathers. Has that changed since then? – biblically, does God change??? Ask Him what He is telling you – you MIGHT end up being astonished!

Take care, dear Ruth! Look up, and may God bless you always!

    Your brother,
    Tim

Boy, do I appreciate that! I have hand copied the three books of Enoch twice and am halfway through a third time. I also hand copied the book of Thomas and remember that. It is like the black goo is spreading out throughout the land, but the light is here.. The hesitancy, often strict resistance, to reading the apocryphal books surprises me. Enoch is all of our ancestor and wrote specifically to us, the righteous and the elect, in these times. The Lord lets his children know if something is wrong with a writing. I did not trust the last verse in Thomas and was going to write the whole book off. I told the Lord I thought that it was wrong, then learned it had been added later by the latter day Saints. Mary Magdalene’s book is fascinating. Many books are not in the Bible. In a personal message I received, Isaiah wrote seventeen books, long ones, and we have one! Enoch wrote 365 and we have three. Our Lord loves the written Word! I expect skepticism, it is good to discern, and I am fallible as a human, but we should not argue, people will get discouraged. I was hesitant to post any of my poems because I am so susceptible to criticism and would never have done it for myself. Thank you for your kind words and support! We are all working on this particular puzzle and when a piece does not fit, maybe it is not time for it yet!

    @ Ruth,

Thank you! I always try to help. And, I know all too well that many are skeptical about even considering apocrypha. But, as we are told, we must TEST ALL things against His word, by the Spirit.

Regarding the last verse of GoT, I know exactly what you mean. But, you did exactly what He tells us to do. If I can add one little thing, may I say, Never stop asking. Never assume that you understand “all there is” about any particular subject. This is a part of the significance of Jacob’s vision of the ladder with the angels ascending and descending to/from heaven; similar to Paul saying he “knew someone” who went through the different heavens.

Take care, and God bless you, Ruth.

I always feel a jump in my spirit when I read something added or might be false. It is like a warning, so I pray for understanding. It takes a lot of prayer to write a message, one wrong word in a line may mislead people. I pray three times before sending, are You sure? Then that the Words will reach who He intended. Again, thank you for your kind words. He does want me to write one about Ruth. Love you, Tim, and if we lose our words, we are through. Keep commenting! We must communicate! Now they told us we can spread this sickness through talking! They hate our words, cuts them like a sword!
      Your sister, Ruth.
